Have you ever felt that you are not motivated to do work?
You know that if you work hard and learn new skills your life and business will improve.
But somehow you just can’t find the motivation for it. It feels like a lot of work – and sometimes you are comfortable to stay where you are.
You compare yourself to other friends and family members and feel good about yourself that your life is a little bit better. Don’t you?
And when you see people who are way better than you, you feel jealous.
We live life like this. Constantly comparing ourselves to others.
This is true and cannot be denied. I do that too. Humans are socially relative.
There are two ways to go from here:
- You can compare yourself to the people who are not successful as you (and feel good about yourself in the process).
- You can compare yourself with people who are better than you and feel the pain of not being successful enough – and force yourself to work hard and grow.
I am in the 2nd category.
I believe that if I am the smartest person in the room, I am in the wrong room.
You don’t want to be the smartest person in the room even if it feels good. Because your growth will stop.
When you surround yourself with people who are happier, are achieving success with their career and business, motivation will automatically come.
